Special Invitation Letters in Zenless Zone Zero are a late-game, premium exchange currency introduced in Version 2.5. This collectible resource gives players a more reliable way to invest in specific agents, reducing their dependence on pure gacha luck. In this guide, I’ll explain how to get Special Invitation Letters, what they’re used for, and whether they’re worth saving for future updates.
What Is a Special Invitation Letter in ZZZ?
A Special Invitation Letter is a currency used in the Collectible Exchange store under the Agent Exchange section.
Its primary purpose is to allow players to purchase Mindscapes, which are duplicate copies of agents, directly from the shop. Each Mindscape costs two Special Invitation Letters.
How to Get Special Invitation Letter in Zenless Zone Zero

There are two main ways to earn Special Invitation Letters in the game: through pulling maxed-out characters and participating in limited-time events.
Pulling Maxed-Out Characters
The most reliable method is by pulling duplicate copies of characters that are already fully maxed out (M6). If you pull a Standard Banner agent at M6, you’ll receive one Special Invitation Letter.
For example, pulling another copy of Jane or Bernice after they’re fully maxed will reward you with a letter. Since each Mindscape costs two letters, you’ll need to pull a maxed character twice to make one exchange.
Top-Up Event
During certain limited-time in-game events, you can get Special Invitation Letters in the Filmgoer Thank‑You Gift event. Purchasing at least 10,000 Polychromes in this event will reward you with 2x Special Invitation Letters. This event is time-limited and will last until 6 February 2026.
What Are Special Invitation Letters Used For?

The primary use of Special Invitation Letters is purchasing Agent Mindscapes in the Agent Exchange section.
- Cost: 2x Special Invitation Letters per Mindscape
- Purpose: Increase an agent’s Resonance and help reach M6
Once an agent reaches M6, you can no longer purchase additional Mindscapes for them from this store.
Available Agents in Version 2.5
As of ZZZ Version 2.5, the exchange mainly features standard banner agents, including:
- Jane
- Bernice
- Qhingyi
- Rina
- Nekomata
This lineup may expand in future updates, so players aren’t forced to spend their letters immediately.
Is the Special Invitation Letter Worth It?
Yes—but it’s a long-term resource, not a quick reward. Special Invitation Letters are best used by players who plan and want guaranteed progress toward M6 agents without relying entirely on luck.
Whether you choose to spend them now or save them for future updates, this system gives Zenless Zone Zero players more control over character progression than ever before.
