Black Ops 7’s daily challenges are currently bugged for many players, and there’s no guaranteed fix you can apply on your end right now. The issue is affecting both Multiplayer and Zombies daily challenges, while weekly challenges continue to track normally for most players.
What’s going on with daily challenges in Black Ops 7?
Call of Duty Black Ops 7 daily challenges are not progressing and there is a blank space where the Blackcell challenge should be. This has been an issue since the release of Season 1. Many players are reporting that their daily challenges are either:
- Stay the same as the previous day
- Appears to reset but never track progress
- Remain stuck at 0 even after meeting the requirements
For many gamers, Zombies dailies are frozen as well, while weekly challenges, XP, and other progression systems are still working fine. Reports from December 5–6, 2025, show this is a widespread issue across all platforms, not just isolated accounts.
Things you can try to fix the Daily Challenges bug in BO7 (not guaranteed fixes)
These steps have helped with tracking issues in older Call of Duty titles, but at the moment they don’t work consistently for Black Ops 7:
- Fully close the game and restart both the game and your console/PC
- Swap between Multiplayer and Zombies a few times to see if tracking restarts
- Double-check that your game is fully updated in case a small hotfix rolled out
Again, these are only temporary workarounds and may not fix the problem for everyone.
This type of issue is usually fixed through a small server-side update or patch. For now, the best option is to keep an eye on official patch notes and the Known Issues page until a confirmed fix is released.
