Where to Find Mistvein Ore in The Forge
Mistvein Ore can only be obtained in the Frostspire Expanse, a late-game region that unlocks once your character reaches level 70 and completes the Forgotten Kingdom.
From the Frostspire starting area:
- Travel south toward Bjorn
- Turn east and follow the mountain path
- Climb up to The Peak, also known as Peak Cave or Ice Peak Cave
This is the only location in the game where Mistvein Ore can drop.
Mining Requirements for Mistvein Ore
Before you start mining, make sure your gear is strong enough.
- Minimum Mining Power required: 320
- Recommended pickaxe: Snow Pickaxe
- Purchased in Frostspire Expanse
- Costs 750,000 Gold
If your pickaxe doesn’t meet the mining power requirement, you won’t be able to break the crystal nodes that drop Mistvein.
What Can Drop Mistvein Ore?
Mistvein Ore does not drop from normal rocks. It only comes from ice crystal formations found in The Peak. Focus your farming on:
- Small Ice Crystals
- Medium Ice Crystals
- Large Ice Crystals
- Floating Ice Crystals
Breaking anything outside of these crystal types will not give you Mistvein Ore.
Mistvein Ore Drop Rate
