If you’re new to My Winter Car, the Sorbet is your first car and your main daily driver. Knowing how to de-ice it, start it, and drive it properly will make your early gameplay way easier. Don’t worry—we’ve got you covered in this guide.
What’s the Sorbet?
The Sorbet is based on a 1979–1985 Talt 1510, a classic station wagon hatchback from Great Britain and France. In the game, it’s your starter car, ready for you from the very beginning. You’ll be using it for almost everything early on, so it’s important to get familiar with it.
As soon as you start a new game, the Sorbet is parked right outside your apartment, and it’s already yours.
How to De-Ice Sorbet in My Winter Car

Winter mornings in My Winter Car can be rough, and clearing frost from your car is important before you start driving.
First, turn on the window heater—it warms up the glass and begins to melt the frost. You can press the blower button twice to help it work faster. Even with the heater on, you’ll still need to scrape some ice manually.
Simply left-click and move your mouse over the frosted areas, starting with the windshield, as it usually takes the longest.
Inside the Sorbet
Inside the Sorbet, the trunk opens easily and can hold quite a few items, which is great for carrying tools or supplies. The front seats slide back, giving you extra room if you need it, while the front windows open, but the back ones stay fixed.
The car doesn’t have a radio or glove box, but the dashboard is simple and functional, so everything you need is easy to reach.
How to Start and Drive the Sorbet

To start the Sorbet, first enter driving mode. The car has a 5-speed manual gear shift and a handbrake, so make sure you’re familiar with both.
Release the handbrake, then hold down the ignition switch to start the engine—you’ll hear it roar. Use the B key to shift up or down as needed while driving.
The Sorbet handles snowy roads surprisingly well, making it a reliable choice for early-game trips and everyday tasks.
